Working Principle of Crane Working Arm
The working principle of the crane working arm is realized through the hydraulic system. The working arm of the hydraulic crane is composed of a plurality of hydraulic cylinders, each of which has a piston and a hydraulic cylinder. The crane hydraulic cylinder is filled with pressure oil.
When the hydraulic pump supplies pressure oil to the hydraulic cylinder, the pressure oil will enter the hydraulic cylinder to drive the piston movement. The movement of the piston will cause the working arm to expand or lift.
The hydraulic crane working arm is also equipped with a control system to control the operation of the hydraulic pump and the work of the hydraulic cylinder. The control system can control the work of the hydraulic system according to the operator’s instructions, so as to realize the expansion and lifting of the working arm. Under normal circumstances, the control system of the crane working arm uses a manual joystick or remote control to operate.
In general, the working principle of the working arm of the hydraulic crane is realized through the work of the hydraulic system, the hydraulic system provides pressure oil through the hydraulic pump, and the control system is used to control the work of the hydraulic system, so as to achieve the expansion and lifting of the working arm.
Crane Cylinder Disassembly and Repair Method
In the face of problems such as oil leakage and inflexibilities of crane hydraulic cylinders, timely maintenance is very important. Before maintenance, prepare wrench set, bellows locking material, work gloves, goggles, lighter or blowtorch, cleaning agent and clean cloth.
Preparations include turning off the crane engine, cutting off the power, pulling up the crane rod, using hand brakes and cushions to secure, and making sure the cylinder is empty.
Disassembly steps:
- Loosen the bellows fastening nut and use the bellows locking material to prevent oil leakage.
- Turn off the hydraulic system, release the pressure, unscrew the hydraulic pipe nut, and carefully separate the pipe.
- Check and loosen the connection between the crane cylinder and other components, and lift the cylinder smoothly.
- Clean crane cylinder and surrounding area, inspect and replace damaged parts.
- After completing the repair, reinstall the cylinder in reverse order and tighten the connecting nut.
- Test crane motion and hydraulic system to make sure everything is normal.
If you are not sure whether the task can be completed safely and effectively, contact professional technical personnel. Correct maintenance can solve the problem of the crane hydraulic cylinder in time to ensure the normal operation of the crane.
