NAFL200 Series 2-Bolt Flange Bearing Units — Standard Duty, Eccentric Locking Collar
The NAFL200 series combines the oval two-bolt flange housing of the UCFL200 with the eccentric locking collar insert of the NAP200 pillow block series. As with all NA series units, the eccentric collar tightens progressively under unidirectional shaft rotation — the collar's geometry creates a self-reinforcing grip that increases with operating torque. This makes the NAFL200 appropriate for oval flange installations on drives where the shaft runs in one direction and the enhanced retention of the eccentric collar is preferred over the static engagement of a setscrew.
Eccentric Collar in an Oval Flange Housing
The NAFL200 housing is dimensionally matched to the UCFL200 for equivalent bore sizes — H, J, and bolt-circle dimensions are identical, allowing an upgrade from setscrew to eccentric collar locking by replacing only the insert bearing without re-drilling the mounting panel. The B1 dimension (eccentric collar insert width) is wider than the UCFL200 B dimension: verify axial clearance before retrofitting in installations with tight axial space at the bearing position.
