UEF200 Series 4-Bolt Flange Bearing Units — Concentric Collar, Bidirectional, High-Speed
The UEF200 series brings concentric locking collar technology to the four-bolt square flange housing. The concentric collar applies uniform 360° clamping pressure around the shaft bore — no eccentric mass, no directional dependency. This makes the UEF200 the correct choice for four-bolt flange installations where the shaft runs at high speed, reverses direction under load, or where dynamic balance of the rotating assembly is a design requirement.
Concentric Collar in a Flange Housing — Where It Matters
High-speed panel-mounted drives — fan impeller shafts, centrifuge supports, winding machine spindle supports — often combine two constraints: the bearing must mount to a vertical face (requiring a flange housing), and the shaft speed or reversal frequency makes setscrew or eccentric collar locking inadequate. The UEF200 resolves both constraints in one unit. The concentric collar's uniform contact geometry produces no centrifugal imbalance at any speed, and its symmetric release ensures the collar does not back off under load reversal as the eccentric collar of the NAF200 would.
