When direct shaft-to-shaft coupling is not practical — such as when connecting to motor bell housings, gearbox output flanges, or large hydraulic drives — the F Type Flanged Flexible Jaw Coupling provides the bolted flange interface required for heavy machinery applications.
Available in four structural configurations — A, B, C, and D — the F Type covers both shaft-to-flange connections (A and C types) and flange-to-flange connections (B and D types). The B and D variants are specifically designed for installations where both ends of the drive cannot be moved axially, enabling rapid radial spider replacement without disconnecting either the motor or the driven machine.
The elastomeric spider delivers the same torsional flexibility, vibration damping, and zero-lubrication maintenance profile found across the full GBC jaw coupling range. Custom flange patterns, keyways, and bore dimensions are machined to customer specification.

Four Structural Variants Explained
Type A — Flange to Shaft
One hub connects via a bolted flange; the other uses a standard bore-and-keyway shaft connection. Suited for connecting flanged gearboxes or motor outputs to plain shaft driven equipment.
Type B — Double Flange, Radial Access
Both hubs use bolted flange connections. Removing the flange bolts on one side allows the spider to be extracted radially, without moving either connected machine. Preferred for high-availability plant where downtime for axial shaft movement is unacceptable.
Type C — Compact Flange to Shaft
Functionally identical to Type A but with a reduced outer diameter for space-constrained installations where the available coupling guard or housing diameter is limited.
Type D — Compact Double Flange, Custom Option
Double-flange connection with reduced outer diameter. Custom flange patterns can be manufactured to customer specification — particularly useful for non-standard motor frame sizes or proprietary gearbox mounting interfaces.
