🆕 Series Overview
The LIN-01R series is a complete cylindrical plastic linear bearing comprising an anodised aluminium outer housing pre-fitted with a LIN-01 sliding membrane. Ready for direct installation into an H7-tolerance housing bore. No additional components required.
Dynamic load ratings from 870 N to 15,000 N and static ratings from 6,090 N to 105,000 N across 8 bore sizes (10–50 mm). The membrane is the only wearing element — replace it alone when wear is detected, retaining the aluminium housing for multiple service cycles.

The LIN sliding membrane is a proprietary high-performance plastic with density 1.48 g/cm³ and kinetic friction coefficient 0.05–0.15 against steel (dry). Max PV value (dry) 0.4 N/mm²·m/s, continuous temperature −50°C to +90°C, short-term peak +120°C. Tensile strength 75 MPa (ISO 527), compressive strength 60 MPa, elastic modulus 2,400 MPa, Rockwell hardness HRR 107. The spiral groove pattern on the membrane bore expels contaminants axially rather than allowing accumulation — the key advantage over ball linear bearings in dusty environments. The aluminium housing is anodised for corrosion resistance.
Max PV (Dry)
0.4 N/mm²·m/s. Kinetic friction 0.05–0.15 against steel without lubrication. Higher PV possible with lubrication.
Temperature Range
Continuous −50°C to +90°C. Short-term peak +120°C. Cold-start capable at −50°C without special preparation.

🔧 Installation & Maintenance
🔎 Housing Bore
Press LIN-01R into customer housing bore (H7 tolerance) using press tool on outer housing end face only. Do not use adhesive — housing must be removable for membrane replacement.
🔧 Shaft Specification
h6, Ra 0.8 µm or better. No hardness requirement — compatible with stainless steel, aluminium, and plastic shafts.
📈 Membrane Replacement
When shaft play exceeds 0.1 mm: remove bearing, press out worn membrane, press in new LIN-01 membrane, reinstall. Aluminium housing not replaced.
🛣 Washdown
Wash in situ with food-grade alkaline cleaner. Ensure drain holes face downward. No relubrication after washing.
