🆕 Series Overview
The LIN-02 series is an open-type plastic sliding membrane for LIN-02R aluminium housing linear bearings. Compared with LIN-01, the LIN-02 has a narrower width (b1), making it suitable for shorter housings where axial length is constrained. The open-slot configuration enables installation in split housings.
LIN-02 shares the same spiral groove design, dry-running capability, and PV limits as LIN-01. Load ratings are proportionally lower due to the shorter contact length — select LIN-01 where higher load capacity is required within the same bore size.

The LIN sliding membrane is a proprietary high-performance plastic with density 1.48 g/cm³ and kinetic friction coefficient 0.05–0.15 against steel (dry). Max PV value (dry) 0.4 N/mm²·m/s, continuous temperature −50°C to +90°C, short-term peak +120°C. Tensile strength 75 MPa (ISO 527), compressive strength 60 MPa, elastic modulus 2,400 MPa, Rockwell hardness HRR 107. The spiral groove pattern on the membrane bore expels contaminants axially rather than allowing accumulation — the key advantage over ball linear bearings in dusty environments. The aluminium housing is anodised for corrosion resistance.
Max PV (Dry)
0.4 N/mm²·m/s. Kinetic friction 0.05–0.15 against steel without lubrication. Higher PV possible with lubrication.
Temperature Range
Continuous −50°C to +90°C. Short-term peak +120°C. Cold-start capable at −50°C without special preparation.
