Disc Harrow Farm Implement Bearing Units
Disc Harrow Units are four-bolt flange housings paired with agricultural insert bearings designed for disc harrow and tillage equipment service. Available in Round Bore (RD) and Square Bore (SQ) configurations across Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 sealing arrangements. For fit approval, check bore form, housing type and implement seating geometry.
This product family suits disc harrows, cultivators and other rotating tillage equipment exposed to heavy soil contamination, moisture and seasonal service. Actual load, speed and contamination conditions should be confirmed for the ordered position.

Selection Notes
Disc harrow units combine a cast steel four-bolt flange housing with an agricultural insert bearing. The housing locates the bearing against the implement frame while the insert carries the rotating shaft. Round bore versions use a standard cylindrical bore; square bore versions lock directly onto a square shaft without a separate collar.
Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 designations refer to the seal and retention arrangement on the insert bearing. Check the type suffix in the bearing number when ordering a replacement — two units that share the same shaft size and housing may use different seal arrangements that are not interchangeable in service.
For new builds, confirm the bolt-hole pitch L and P, the housing height F and the bore form before finalising the frame design. For retrofits, measure the as-installed housing face and bolt pattern from the existing unit rather than scaling the drawing.
Technical Drawing & Bore Reference
Read dimension labels directly from the drawing. L and P are the bolt-hole pitch dimensions; B is the housing width; F is the height from the mounting face to the top of the bearing; do is the outer ring diameter; A and E are base dimensions. For modified or repaired frames, provide current machine measurements with the enquiry rather than relying on catalogue values.

The 491 series is purpose-designed for disc harrow gang frames. The four-bolt square flange bolts directly to standard harrow gang brackets. Confirm bore type (RD or SQ) matches the gang shaft before ordering.

The 209 and 211 series suit cultivators, field cultivators and other tillage implements. The wider flange base on the 211 series handles the higher lateral loads typical of deeper-tillage positions.

Square bore DHU variants are commonly used on seeder and planter frames where hex or square shafts transmit both rotation and lateral forces. Confirm shaft size H against the table before standardising across positions.
