SALP200 & SBLP200 Series Pillow Block Bearing Units — Light Duty, Compact Housing
The SALP200 and SBLP200 series target the lower end of the pillow block load range — shaft diameters from 12 to 35 mm, light radial loads, and installations where the mounting footprint must be as small as possible. SALP uses a SA eccentric locking collar; SBLP uses setscrew locking — same housing, two locking options, covering single-direction and bidirectional drives respectively.
SALP vs SBLP — Same Housing, Different Retention
The SALP200 and SBLP200 use an identical cast iron housing. The difference is the insert bearing: SALP200 carries a SA series eccentric locking collar insert, while SBLP200 carries a standard setscrew insert. This means the two series are dimensionally interchangeable at the housing level, and a machine can be upgraded from setscrew (SBLP) to eccentric collar (SALP) on a unidirectional drive without changing any mounting hardware — simply swap the insert bearing and locking collar.

Load Rating Guidance
The SALP/SBLP200 series is classified as light duty and carries lower static and dynamic load ratings than the UCP200 at equivalent bore sizes. For the same bore sizes with higher load capacity, the UCP200 series (setscrew) or NAP200 series (eccentric collar) provide substantially higher ratings in the same two-bolt pillow block format.
