Selection and Housing Match

Choose the bore first, then compare D and B with the retained housing. If regular relubrication is required by the operating environment, specify the -G version shown in the catalogue instead of assuming a grease path is present.

Installation Notes

Confirm the housing series before tightening anything. SB, SB-G and cylindrical-OD C-prefix variants share similar naming but are not interchangeable by bore alone. On set-screw rows, use the catalogue torque for the listed screw size.

For set-screw rows, the catalogue gives the following maximum tightening torques. Use the thread shown in the selected bearing row; a torque value belongs to the screw size, not simply to the bearing bore.

The catalogue uses -G for relubricatable versions in applicable SB/SA families, C-prefix notation for cylindrical outside-diameter variants, 2RS where the double-rubber-seal designation is part of the model, and +H for UK adapter-sleeve combinations. Not every suffix applies to every series.
