UEHA200 Series Concentric-Lock Hanger Bearing Units
UEHA200 combines a threaded-top hanger housing with a concentric locking insert. It is intended for suspended shaft support, but its shaft retention method is the point that separates it from the UCHA setscrew family.
The published range runs from 20 to 60 mm. On a replacement job, the hanger height and top attachment must be checked together with the insert type. A housing can fit the bracket yet still be the wrong replacement if the shaft locking method or axial insert dimensions do not match the original design.
For a wider housing comparison, browse the bearings range before finalising the mounting style.
What to measure before removing the old UEHA
Use the product drawing as the final dimensional authority. The points below are practical filters that help narrow the correct model before a full drawing comparison.
Confirm that the removed unit is concentric-lock, not simply a visually similar hanger.
Top connection, housing height and shaft centreline must work with adjacent hanger stations.
Review B1 and S around couplings, screw sections or shaft collars.
A suspended location can be difficult to reach once the trough, cover or guard is fitted.

A hanger selected by both geometry and lock type
Concentric shaft lock
The insert retains the shaft concentrically rather than with the UCHA setscrew arrangement.
Threaded overhead mounting
The housing is suspended from a top connection and supports the shaft below the structure.
20-60 mm published sizes
Nine metric shaft sizes are listed in the source range.
B1-based insert dimensions
The catalogue uses B1 with the relevant hanger geometry, supporting correct comparison of the lock-style insert.

Commissioning a suspended concentric-lock bearing
Suspended bearings should not be removed while the shaft is free to drop or twist.
A damaged top boss, rod or bracket can mimic a bearing alignment problem.
Do not install it as if it were a setscrew or eccentric-collar insert.
Long shafts with multiple hangers should rotate freely without one new bearing forcing the line out of position.

Where concentric-lock hanger units fit
These are application patterns where the housing concept is commonly considered. Final suitability still depends on load, speed, alignment, environment and the machine designer’s requirements.
Screw conveyor intermediate supports
Concentric locking can be specified where the designer wants this retention method at suspended bearing points.
Food and process conveying frames
Hanger geometry keeps the support above the shaft path where pedestal mounting is not practical.
Grain handling systems
The unit can support intermediate rotating shafts in enclosed or semi-enclosed conveyor structures.
OEM assemblies standardised on concentric inserts
Using the same locking philosophy across flange and hanger stations can simplify a machine builder’s maintenance specification.
UEHA200 in the hanger family
UEHA200 is the concentric-lock hanger choice in this set. UCHA200 is the closer alternative when setscrew locking is required. UCHE200 also uses setscrews but has a different compact housing profile, so dimensional interchange should be verified from the drawing.
Send the machine details for a model check
For UEHA200, send the existing model marking, shaft diameter, mounting dimensions and a photo of the bearing position. GBC can review the information against the published series before quotation. Email: sales@australia-drive.com.
